Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and CubeSnap (“we,” “us”) and govern your use of the CubeSnap mobile apps and our website at cubesnap.app (together, the “Service”). This document also serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the apps. By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

CubeSnap reads a physical Rubik’s-style cube from two photos and returns a step-by-step solution you can play back in 3D. Recognition runs on our cloud service; see our Privacy Policy for how your photos and data are handled. The solution is computed from the cube state as recognized — if a photo is misread, the solution may not match your physical cube, and you can retake the photos or re-scan.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store you installed from. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, or use it to build a competing product, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

Purchases and subscriptions

Reading your cube is free. Unlocking a solution is available as a one-time in-app purchase, or through CubeSnap Unlimited, an auto-renewable subscription offered on a monthly or yearly basis.

Auto-renewable subscription terms.

CubeSnap Unlimited unlocks unlimited solutions for the duration of the subscription.
Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings after purchase. Canceling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy and may vary by region; any free trial’s unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Purchases are processed by the app store, not by us; we do not receive or store your payment-card details. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their respective policies.

Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes.
Do not abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt the recognition service or circumvent purchase or usage controls.
Do not upload content you have no right to submit.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that recognition will always be accurate, that a solution will match a misread cube, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CubeSnap will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the consumer laws of your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
