CubeSnap solves a scrambled cube puzzle from two quick photos and shows you the step-by-step solution, including an interactive 3D playback.

Need help fast? Email support@cubesnap.app and include your device model and iOS version. If a scan was misread, the in-app “Send debug bundle” option (when available) helps us reproduce it.

How to scan your cube

Photo A: hold the cube with white on top and frame three faces (the up, right, and front). Tap Capture URF.
Rotate 180° so the opposite three faces show, with yellow on top.
Photo B: frame those three faces and tap Capture DLB.
CubeSnap recognizes all six faces and shows the solution.

Frequently asked questions

It says “retake” or didn’t read my cube.

Make sure the whole cube is in frame and evenly lit, Photo A is white-up, and Photo B is yellow-up. Avoid strong glare on the stickers.

A sticker was read as the wrong color.

Tap Fix a misread sticker on the result screen, then tap any sticker to recolor it. CubeSnap checks the cube is solvable before you continue.

What does it cost?

Scanning and recognizing your cube is free. Unlocking the step-by-step solution for a cube is a one-time in-app purchase; the exact price for your region is shown in the app at the time of purchase.

Which cubes work?

Any standard 3x3 cube puzzle — branded or stickerless.

Do you store my photos?

Your two photos are sent to our recognition service to compute the solution, and may be processed by trusted third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. For ordinary scans they are not retained; they are not linked to your identity and are never sold. See our Privacy Policy for details.
